I. Cal Evans’ Latest Attempt to Manipulate Search Results
In a new twist on his ongoing efforts to bury negative publicity, Cal Evans of Gresham International has turned to Quora, a popular question-and-answer platform, to flood the internet with self-aggrandizing, AI-generated content. We know it’s AI-generated because, besides the fact that all the answers lack any substance whatsoever, whoever he paid to create such a ridiculous profile got his name wrong! Yep! He’s called “Cale” throughout the profile (FIVE TIMES!). Maybe this is a new persona for him?

Either way, this move comes in the wake of my series of exposés that have shed light on Evans’ questionable practices, fraud, and credential theft in the cryptocurrency space. (Full list below)
II. Quora: A New Platform for Evans’ Self-Promotion
Evans’ Quora profile is filled with grandiose claims about his expertise and accomplishments, describing him as a “multi-award-winning digital asset lawyer” and “a self-proclaimed tech enthusiast and holder of patented crypto technology.” However, upon closer inspection, many of these claims appear to be exaggerated or outright fabrications.
For example, Evans boasts about being featured in leading media outlets such as CNBC, Forbes, and Huffington Post, but as we analyzed in PART VI: Cal Evans’ “Publishings” Are All Lies, Very Sketchy, and/or Cannot be Found (https://dunsmoorlaw.com/2024/06/28/part-vi-cal-evans-publishings-are-all-lies-very-sketchy-and-or-cannot-be-found/), all of these publications were either before he was licensed as a CILEX chartered legal executive (yes, he’s not a solicitor or barrister and has limited practice rights in the UK) or have been removed, presumably because he lied about something. He also mentions serving as an advisor to various governments, including Estonia, Malta, and Dubai, and we know these are claims he makes by being associated with the British Blockchain Association, which has also falsely claimed he has an LLM, an Esq., honors with his LLB, and worked for Facebook’s Libra.

A closer look at Evans’ Quora answers reveals that they are likely generated by artificial intelligence, as they lack depth, substance, and often contain inconsistencies.
